The Footmen’s major fundraising event is The Footmen Annual Charity Golf Day. Usually held on the third Thursday of the month, up to 120 players hit off at 1pm for a great afternoon of golf in the glorious sunshine or the pelting rain!!

grant requests

Grants are given to people in necessitous circumstances, in our community or, to organizations that support people in need.

For a grant to be considered, the request must be in writing, preferably on the official application form (click here) and usually needs to be submitted by a care organization, though from time-to-time individual requests have been acted upon.

The grants that have been approved in the 09/10 financial year total $10,312.17 and are:

·         $895                for a second skin

·         $507.32           purchases for The Dining Room

·         $545.00           zoom text magnifier / reader, keyboard package

·         $850                Thermomix appliance

·         $500                toward a wheelchair

·         $2014.85         40 x $50 Christmas gift vouchers

·         $500                part show costs for fundraiser with the Melba Centre

·         $500                epilepsy detection mat and sensor

·         $4000              annual grant to the Eastern Volunteer Resource Centre, for car leasing

In the first three months of the 10/11 financial year, our grants have been in the order of $5000
